Opihr gin has been manufactured since 2013 and has already gained a great reputation for its good reviews. It’s basically an oriental-inspired gin, so we can make a big trip with it from Southeast Asia all the way to England, just like the spice traders used to do. In the flavor, we can taste the cubeb pepper from the small Malaysian island of Malacca, and the Tellicherry black pepper obtained from Kerala, India, which is said to be the noblest pepper (also known as the spice of kings, or “Black Gold”). The high-quality cumin is sourced from Turkey, juniper is from Venice, coriander from Morocco, and oranges are sourced from Spain.
