The well-known company, Suntory used to be known mainly for whiskeys, and now here’s their new gin, the first joint gin since Beam and Suntory merged in 2014. The use of six kinds of Japanese spices displays the four seasons – cherry blossom leaves and flowers represents spring, sencha and gyokuro tea for summer, sansho pepper as autumn and yuzu peel marks the winter months. In addition to these, traditional gin spices have been included in the drink, besides the essential juniper, Roku’s flavor includes orange peel, lemon peel, coriander and cinnamon.
